Belgian utility builder Willy Naessens recently completed the complex housing Drive in Units Berkel. After 10 months of intensive construction, the 4-story complex has been completed. It is now Teunissen + Berendse Vastgoed Projecten bv's turn to create the now 42 sold business units on the first floor. The remaining floor space on the upper floors will house a new branch of Drive in Units Berkel. Here, storage and workspace can be rented with very flexible (terminable per 2 months) rental contracts. Each unit is accessible by (company) car. With 6 meter wide lanes and a height of 2.7 meters, the complex is very spacious, the first units for rent will be available mid-April 2025.

Drive in Units is expanding successfully. With already existing locations in Delft, Naaldwijk and Pijnacker, expansion is being sought with 2 new locations. One branch will be located in the Westland region (De Lier) and one in the Oostland region (Berkel en Rodenrijs). De Lier will accommodate approximately 60 units. Approximately 250 units will be created in Berkel. By mid-April 2025, the first renters will be able to occupy the units in Berkel. The Lier renters will have to wait until the end of 2025.

De sporthal van handbalvereniging Quintus heeft onlangs een metamorfose ondergaan. De gedateerde sporthal was hard toe aan vernieuwingen. Na heel veel acties van de leden om geld binnen te krijgen voor een fikse verbouwing is onlangs de vernieuwde sporthal in gebruik genomen. Zo is de boarding rondom het speelveld vernieuwd. Is er een heus krachthonk gerealiseerd en ook de vloer is vernieuwd en voorzien van vloerverwarming. Voor de sponsoren zijn de reclameborden vervangen voor spandoeken. Drive in Units heeft als prominente sponsor een mooi en opvallend plekje gekregen boven het scorebord.

The construction of Drive in Units Berkel at Industrieweg 71 in Berkel en Rodenrijs is progressing steadily. The structural work is expected to be finished by the end of this year, after which we can continue building the units. From quarter 2 of 2025 the units will be available for rent.

Storage and workspace partner Drive in Units recently opened a new location on Vlielandseweg in Pijnacker. Having previously opened locations in Delft and Naaldwijk, a new expansion plan for Drive in Units in neighboring Berkel en Rodenrijs is currently on the drawing board. This building plan includes business units for sale from approximately 15 m² to 111 m². There is also a wide range of storage and work spaces (Drive in Units with a varied range of units from 4 m² to 60 m²) for the entrepreneur and/or private individual who wants to rent flexibly. Construction of this project is forecast to begin in early 2024.

Hoekse football club HVC'10 will continue to play with Drive-in Units as a sponsor on their shirts for the next few years. HVC'10 was formed in 2010 after a fusion between v.v. Hoek van Holland and v.v. Hoekse Boys. The Hoekse football club, with more than 700 members, plays their home matches at sports park De Rondgang. Recently, the sponsorship commitment with Drive-in Units is continued for 3 years.

Storage and workspace rental company Drive in Units is the proud shirt sponsor of handball club (men's) Quintus. The handball club from Kwintsheul, founded in 1950, has nationwide sporting ambitions in both the men's and women's divisions. Handball club Quintus plays weekly in the Eekhout sports hall and with almost 500 members is one of the largest handball clubs in the Netherlands. Drive in Units with branches in Delft, Naaldwijk and Pijnacker has committed itself as shirt sponsor for the next 3 years.

After more than 15 months of building, project Vlielandseweg has been completed. The project consists of 63 garage boxes and a redevelopment of old business units. These business units have been transformed on the ground floor into 4 large business units of 300 m². On the first floor there are 51 storage and work spaces, which is a new location of Drive in Units. At Drive in Units Pijnacker some units are available.

3e fase Drive-in Units Naaldwijk is completed! In the 2nd quarter of 2020, the roof of another 2,750 m² was realized at the Drive-in Units. The extra storage and work space meters have been created on the top (2nd) floor. This floor is accessed by an indoor ramp from the first floor. With this extra surface, another 120 boxes can find their way to the rental market. More than 200 self-employed persons, private individuals, retailers and entrepreneurs have already found their way to the Drive-in Units Naaldwijk. Almost 60% of the 3rd phase has already been rented out!

Since its opening in 2017, Drive-in Units Naaldwijk has entered the market with more than 140 storage and work units. Units intended for space-seeking entrepreneurs and private individuals. You can work in the units, but they are also ideal for storing items. The good accessibility (each unit can be reached by car), in combination with the flexible rental contracts, makes Drive-in Units distinctive in the self-storage market. This will explain the rapid growth and also the need for the extra floor on the building. The steel construction is the first visible building part of the extension. Merged clubs HVC (Hoek van Holland and Hoekse Boys) have entered a 3 year sponsorship agreement with Drive-in Units (Naaldwijk - Delft). As part of the sponsorship our name will be on the back of the football shirts of the first team. This team plays its matches in the Second Class on Saturday. In addition to shirt sponsoring, an advertising board will also be placed on the main football pitch. Also a board with our name will be placed in the canteen and our name will also be on the Hoekse Voetbal Club website.

In February 2020 a start will be made with the construction of the 3rd phase Drive-in Units Naaldwijk. A steel structure will be erected on the 2nd floor covering an area of ​​over 2,750 m². This new hall will offer space for a further 120 storage and work units. Indoors these units are accessible via a ramp. The total number of rentable units in Naaldwijk is therefore 275 units. The units vary in size from 3 m² to 90 m². The expectation is that the first units of the new building can be rented from 1 May 2020.
